Sales Executive

DP Solutions is currently seeking a Sales Executive to sell technology products, services and solutions to clients and prospects. Through consultative selling, the Sales Executive will identify, qualify and build new client relationships through solid customer service, understanding customer needs, developing and presenting solutions through effective presentation and closing skills. Successful candidates will pursue selling opportunities through prospecting and lead generation through cold calls, referrals and qualified leads.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build new customers by identifying prospects, evaluating needs and designing custom proposals to suit those needs with minimal guidance
  • Build and manage sales pipeline
  • Maintain high level of customer satisfaction with all accounts.
  • Accountable for client presentations and proposals.
  • Monitors trends and competition while cultivating new client relationships.
  • Attends industry conferences.
  • Successfully develop new accounts to achieve growth and profit goals.
  • Submitting proposals for client work and following up to close the sale.
  • Move prospects through proposal, evaluation, negotiation, and closing stages.
  • Develop strong relationships with existing and new customer base through participation in civic, industry related professional organizations, workshops and seminars.

Candidates must be able to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and stay connected to new, innovative products. Candidates will possess:

  • Minimum of 3 years successful sales experience of multiple platforms in correlation with e-business solutions including but not limited to Database products, Security solutions, infrastructure management solutions, enterprise management solutions, and project management.
  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business administration, marketing, sales, engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 4-6 years experience in an outside sales environment, preferably Business to Business.
  • Independent, successful, experienced working with a team approach, ability to manage long-term opportunities and comfortable working with senior level executives.
  • Ability to skillfully build relationships with current and potential customers
  • Excellent presentation skills and professional appearance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • An aggressive, personable and persistent attitude that can overcome adversity.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint software programs.
