Operating System Upgrades
When upgrading operating systems, DP Solutions uses a proven set of processes and methodologies. Pre-installation activities are performed to verify licensed programs, disk space, system information and PTF status. During the installation process we install the upgraded release for the licensed internal code, operating system and licensed programs. Finally, during post installation we will install required PTFs, install new license keys, set usage limits for usage-based products and verify new system information.

DP Solutions can help you keep up to date on the latest PTFs, including ordering and installation.
System Assurance Meetings
Whether you need to transition from a System/36 to an iSeries, migrate from CISC to RISC, or upgrade your Operating System, DP Solutions conducts a System Assurance Meeting. In this meeting we will verify the current system information and determine responsibilities of both DPS and the client to ensure the job is done correctly. CISC to RISC migration
DP Solutions can help you execute a smooth transition from your current CISC AS/400 to a new RISC iSeries.
