New SEC Rules Require U.S. Companies to Reveal Cyber Attacks Within 4 Days
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved new rules that require U.S. companies to disclose any material cybersecurity incident within four days of identification. The new obligations also requires companies to reveal their methods of cybersecurity management and strategy on an annual basis.
