Bio and Background:
As Director of Strategic Operations, Ben works with clients to develop their IT strategy and make sound technology decisions, such as how to meet a security or compliance standard, or providing insight into areas where clients need sophisticated analysis to establish the right approach. Ben also works directly with clients' staff to provide education on topics such as security awareness and best practices to prevent cyber-attacks. He hosts regular educational cyber-security webinars, appears at many speaking engagements, sends weekly IT Security Tips, and contributes articles and blog posts for a variety of publications. Ben graduated from Towson University in 2005 with a degree in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration. He then took a role at a MSP as Project Manager where he oversaw the implementation of client systems including Electronic Medical/Health Systems. This required significant attention to HIPAA/HITECH compliance and drove his expertise in compliance, leading to his unique process of matching compliance standards and best practices to system design, integration, and risk management. Ben's role evolved and came on to DP Solutions where he took his role of advising, guiding, and educating clients to the next level as a part of company leadership.
