As Business Development Manager, Ed discovers new opportunities, builds relationships within the community, and helps spread the word about DP Solutions’ values and services. Ed's goal is to educate and help local businesses and organizations understand and optimize their technology, so it works for them.
Ed has worked in the IT industry for over 30 years and joined DP Solutions in June of 2023. He joined the DP Solutions team because it is “a company that is respected in the market for quality and has a great culture.”
Prior to working with DPS, Ed was a Tech Executive for a management consulting firm. He has also worked as a Programmer, Software Development Manager, and CTO for several firms in the area. Ed has a degree in Computer Science from Loyola College and started his tech career selling computers at a store in Towson.
Ed serves as the Chapter Director of the Baltimore Regional Tech Council and enjoys talking with other IT professionals and technologists in software development. He also runs a nonprofit that supports competitive robotics in schools in underserved communities.
Outside of work, Ed cares for his chickens, goats, ducks, cats, dogs, and goose on his farm. He has two daughters, three sons, and two grandchildren. Aside from his passion for technology, Ed enjoys hiking, gardening, fishing, and dirt biking.
