Role Aimed to Create and Enhance the Company’s Strategic Systems
that Drive New Business

Columbia, MD, March 20, 2017 –
 DP Solutions, a Maryland-based Managed IT Services Provider, has named Jefferson Eckles to the newly created role of Director of Strategic Growth.  In this position, Eckles will directly manage the outside sales team and work closely with the marketing team and business partners/vendors to refine business strategy, create go-to-market messaging, and discover new channels and opportunities for business growth.

As Director of Strategic Growth, Eckles will help formulate and implement data-driven sales campaigns with the goal of increasing DP Solutions’ customer base and revenue. By testing and refining marketing campaigns, Eckles envisions a more concrete business process. He will consistently work with the outside sales team and marketing team to discuss opportunities and develop campaigns that coincide with the company’s growth objectives. Eckles will also serve as a business representative to spread brand awareness and network with the business community.

Prior to joining DP Solutions, Eckles held technical roles for Johns Hopkins and Carroll County Public Schools where he specialized in Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory. He joined DP Solutions in 2011 as a Data Center Engineer, where he was responsible for designing and implementing new hosted data center solutions, participating in pre-sales consultations and creating technical designs and estimates.  

In 2012, Eckles was promoted to Senior Cloud Architect at DP Solutions where he spearheaded the design of the company’s cloud IT service offerings, MailSpace & WorkSpace. In this capacity, he also provided technical review for current and prospective clients, led critical project deployments and maintained and monitored hosted cloud environments for DP Solutions’ clients. As Eckles became more familiar with the business side of the company, he became interested in refining the business process. In 2014, he was promoted to Business Process Manager where he evaluated existing business processes and developed new processes designed to keep DP Solutions positioned as an industry leader. Eckles goal in his new position is to help create constant growth using data driven sales engines. 

Eckles holds Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), VMware Technical Sales Professional (VTSP 5), and CompTIA Security+ certifications. He has been in the Information Technology Industry since 2001.
