Job Opening: Project Coordinator

Support and lead technology projects to successful completion.

As a Project Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in keeping technology projects on track and driving results. You’ll support project managers while also taking ownership of smaller initiatives from start to finish.

Role Overview:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting technology projects for customers by managing the cost, time, and scope constraints.  Duties include managing stakeholder engagement, communication, and creating and maintaining a project plan that incorporates tasks, milestone dates, status, resource allocation, and financial status and goals.  The Project Coordinator works under and supports Project Managers while also independently leading smaller projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate multiple IT projects simultaneously including complex cloud migrations, cybersecurity implementations, digital transformation, infrastructure replacement , and client onboardings
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, timelines, and milestone tracking
  • Serve as senior client liaison and trusted advisor throughout project lifecycle
  • Facilitate communication to include project level reporting, status updates, and project meetings
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and roadblocks
  • Ensure that documentation is complete and properly maintained
  • Lead and mentor project teams including engineers, technicians, and coordinators
  • Support Project Managers on complex projects
  • Lead small projects independently
  • Demonstrate servant leadership
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of project management experience
  • Knowledge and experience in cross-functional project management methods and techniques
  • Broad knowledge of IT fundamentals including networking, cloud, and on-prem infrastructure
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Skill in planning and preparing written communications
  • Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer care
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
  • Service awareness of all organization’s key services
  • Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide services
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
