As Director of Technical Engineering, John oversees the Technical Engineering team that responds to critical and large-scale client issues and needs and the Network Infrastructure Engineers who keep an organization’s networks secure, reliable, and running efficiently.
John has been with DP Solutions since April 2020. Prior to his current role, he was a Client Strategy Advisor (CSA).
John enjoys seeing the whole team's desire to grow, learn, and exemplify our Core Values. He also likes "the vision of management to do the right thing for the client, building for the future, and being a badass MSP."
Before coming to work at DPS, John worked for other MSP’s for over 11 years and worked as an IT and Services Manager for other companies in various verticals. He was even the IT Manager for the Washington Redskins/Commanders!
He grew up in San Antonio, Texas and moved to the DMV in 1999. Outside of work, John enjoys serving at his local church, working with the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts, coaching club soccer for 17 years, and supporting the Theatre department at his daughter's school. John loves spending time with his wife, children, and their seven dogs.
John has won awards for Excellence in Service and Philanthropy for his donation of time outside of work.
