Business Solutions Advisor

Job Brief:

The person holding the Business Solution Advisor position will be responsible for the procurement of new client accounts for DP Solutions’ (DPS) primary Managed Service Provider (MSP) practice.

The focus of DPS’s business model is its MSP practice for fully managed IT services. It's critical that prospective DPS customers always receive a truly world-class sales and service experience.

The Business Solution Advisor will act as the primary contact and will be responsible for qualifying new sales leads and prospects for DPS’s services.

They will: 

  • Prepare for, schedule, coordinate and conduct new client meetings and sales presentations as needed.
  • Report on all prospecting, sales and marketing related activities on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Prepare and present proposals for DPS’s services as needed and/or preparing winning RFP responses.
  • Ensure any requests, recommendations, issues or concerns are addressed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • work with various members of our technical services team and management to ensure that our proposed services and pricing are in line with the client’s needs and expectations.

The Business Solution Advisor role and duties are critical to the success of DPS to help market our services and increase awareness in the marketplace of our award-winning fully managed IT services for businesses and organizations in our primary service area.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and prospect for potential new client accounts
  • Create and maintain a highly accurate “Warm 250” list of targeted prospects; edit and amend the list as needed.
  • Qualify sales leads and prospects accurately and schedule, coordinate all new client meetings and sales presentations.
  • Ensure smooth transition and onboarding of new DPS client accounts in conjunction with DPS’s onboarding process and policies.
  • Ensure new MSP clients are knowledgeable of DPS’s onboarding process, policies and procedures to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Perform and act as primary point of contact for DPS sales leads and prospective DPS clients.
  • Perform frequent and consistent contact and engagement with “Warm 250” list of targeted prospects.
  • Ensure all interactions are well documented in ConnectWise.
  • Use exceptional people skills and customer service skills to develop a trusted advisor relationship with clients.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs and objectives.
  • Ensure all activities and opportunities are documented, tracked and updated and processed and follow ups performed.
  • Ensure “Activities” in ConnectWise are maintained for complete accuracy and tracking purposes.
  • Ensure “Opportunities” in ConnectWise are maintained for complete accuracy and forecasting.
  • Prepare & attend weekly Sales Team meetings.
  • Ensure that ongoing education and training is completed for TruMethods, MyITprocess, IT Glue, ConnectWise and other systems as directed by management.
  • Generate new business with new clients with a focus on selling DPS’s MSP services and DPS’s professional services.
  • Deliver sales presentations to clients and attend client meetings.
  • Perform any additional related duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Prepare and present 7-8 proposals each month to well-qualified sales leads.
  • Sell approximately $5,000 in Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) and/or $60,000 in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).
  • Create and maintain a highly accurate “Warm 250” list of targeted prospects.
  • Ensure 100% completion of assigned training as directed (TruMethods, MyITprocess, IT Glue, ConnectWise, etc.).

  • Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.

  • Understanding of processes within TruMethods, MyITprocess, IT Glue & ConnectWise.
  • Timely and accurate time sheet and expense reporting.
  • Timely and accurate Key Performance Indicator (KPI) worksheets reporting.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
