October 12, 2026 – DP Solutions, a family-owned managed IT and cybersecurity provider headquartered in Columbia, Maryland, is proud to announce it has been named a Top Winner in four categories in the 2026 Maryland Daily Record Reader Rankings, including:
This recognition marks DP Solutions' ninth consecutive year earning Best IT Outsourcing Firm and Best Cybersecurity Company, while also receiving Best Maryland-Based Business honors for the second time.
The annual Reader Rankings recognize organizations that have earned the trust and support of Maryland's business community through exceptional service, expertise, and customer experience. The winners are determined through reader voting and celebrate companies making a meaningful impact across the state.
These recognitions reflect DP Solutions' ongoing commitment to helping organizations strengthen cybersecurity, leverage technology more effectively, and achieve their business goals through strategic IT guidance and support.
"We're incredibly honored to be recognized across four categories, especially because these awards are driven by the people and organizations we serve," said Melissa Bryant, President of DP Solutions. "Our team works hard every day to help clients navigate technology challenges, reduce risk, and position their organizations for success. We're grateful for the trust our clients, partners, and community continue to place in us."
For more than 55 years, DP Solutions has partnered with organizations throughout Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic, providing managed IT services, cybersecurity solutions, compliance consulting, cloud services, strategic IT planning, and a locally staffed 24x7 Service Desk.
Being recognized as Best Cybersecurity Company highlights the company's commitment to helping organizations defend against evolving threats, manage cyber risk, and meet growing security and compliance demands. In 2026, DP Solutions further strengthened its cybersecurity capabilities by achieving CMMC Level 2 Certification, validating the company's implementation of rigorous security controls and reinforcing its ability to support organizations with sensitive data protection and compliance needs.
The Best IT Outsourcing Firm and Best Consulting Firm awards reflect DP Solutions' role as a trusted technology partner, helping organizations align technology investments with business objectives while providing the expertise needed to support long-term growth.
Recognition as Best Maryland-Based Business is especially meaningful for the family-owned company, which has served the Maryland business community since 1971 and remains committed to supporting local organizations, employees, and communities.
"We're grateful for this recognition and thankful to our clients, employees, and partners who have been part of the journey," said Brian Usher, Owner and CFO of DP Solutions. "Receiving these awards year after year is a reminder that trust is earned, and we're committed to continuing to deliver on that trust every day."
As technology continues to evolve, DP Solutions remains focused on helping organizations strengthen security, embrace innovation, and use technology as a strategic advantage. These recognitions serve as both a celebration of the trust the company has earned and motivation to continue delivering exceptional experiences for clients across Maryland and beyond.
